I had a very big problem with my late model Prius. It was difficult for the repair team to figure out at first, but those folks persusted and figured it out, lead by the shop Manager--Blair Vile. A huge shout out to all of them and the great service the entire department worked together to provide!

Great service as always…

My last visit was not pleasant. I used a 39.99 coupon in received from them for an oil change and tire rotation special; however, after showing it to the person who greeted me, he said they would charge an additional ~20 for rotation. Later, after the service was completed, another person processing my credit card informed me that the coupon included tire rotation. Confusing! I do not recommend going to the dealership for regular maintenance unless you have a coupon or, the issue is severe enough, or a warranty claim. I stopped going to Steven unless I have a coupon, but if they keep denying their coupon offerings, I'm going to avoid their service. I also decided not to visit their sales department since they sell at a higher price than Richmond/Charlottesville/NOVA dealers.

Each time I take my 2019 Toyota Highlander in for service at Steven Toyota I'm told it needs an alignment. The same recommendation occurred today even though a four wheel alignment was performed at NYLA Magic Auto Repair in Maryland on November 14, 2024. I'm not sure if this may be a problem with Toyota Highlanders or something is causing the problem. However, I know this vehicle should not need an alignment every 4 -6 months. Yes, I know that Steven Toyota will perform a free alignment if a problem occurs within 6 months, and it has happened in the past. However, for the past couple of visits I have decided not to perform the alignment being recommended, and I decided against the recommended alignment today. I'm investigating this problem and we did notice today that the left rear shock is leaking and new rear shocks are needed (not identified by Steven Toyota today). I was very pleased with the friendly personality and respect I received from my Service Advisor (Malachi Davis).

Service department top notch love dealing with them

I was very pleased with my experience at Steven Toyota. The person that arranged my appointment was courteous and efficient. The salesman, Michael McMillan, greeted me at the door. He was knowledgeable and helpful. He explained the features of the vehicle in detail. After the test drive, he was very efficient in the purchase process. The sale manager was also quite efficient and helpful. I had to pick up the car a couple days later. That was also done efficiently. I found Steven Toyota to be well managed, courteous, neat, clean and professional.

Jose and Edgardo are the best service advisors I have ever dealt with and they are always on top of everything. Highly recommend. We take all of our work here because of the great service.

The sales side was a nightmare. But the service center team that helped me genuinely cared. They weren’t perfect but they followed through on things, and I’m grateful for their attentiveness. My vehicle works now!

I have purchased two vehicles from Stephen Kia and regularly have them serviced at Stephen Toyota, which is part of the same company. Even though it’s over an hour drive, I choose to have my vehicles serviced there because I trust them to be honest and reliable. They don’t push unnecessary services or try to sell you things you don’t need. Instead, they focus on letting you know what your car truly needs to perform at its best, without any high-pressure sales tactics. I also want to give a shout out to Will who is the one that helps me with service… He is amazing.
